Vivon was not created at a desk in an office: it was born from the meeting of two worlds I have carried within me for as long as I can remember – the land and technology.
“I come from a family of agricultural entrepreneurs, and I know what it means to get up early, look at the sky, and come to terms with the weather – no discounts, no shortcuts.
I know how much life there is behind every fruit and every product: daily work, care, sacrifice, fears, hopes, and difficult choices.
And yet, when that value reaches the shelf, it too often becomes invisible: the consumer sees a price, a label, a package, but no longer sees the soul of the person who created it.
Alongside my roots, however, there has always been a deep passion for innovation: I have always looked to the future, convinced that digital technology is not there to distract us, but to empower us. The spark struck at the right moment: January 2009, when blockchain technology began to show its potential. That’s when I realised it wasn’t just code or finance: it was a tool to generate trust, to make truth verifiable. I asked myself: what if we used this immutable transparency to truly tell the story of every agri-food supply chain?
Vivon is the answer to that question: a bridge between tradition (heart) and innovation (mind).
We use IoT to give data a voice, Augmented Reality to let people in the city experience the emotion of the countryside, Blockchain to ensure that this story is authentic, traceable, crystallised, and indelible, and Artificial Intelligence to help producers work better: reducing waste, preventing problems, improving quality, and sustainability.
I founded Vivon to create an ethical meeting place between producers and consumers, where relationships are based on respect, transparency, and awareness: a space in which producers have a powerful tool to help consumers understand the many stories of value that live behind a product or an entire supply chain.“
