The 17 Goales of UN: a global challenge!
Reading time: 2’ 20’’
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the world’s best plan to build a better world for people and our planet by 2030.
In September 2015, all United Nations Member States adopted Agenda 2030, identifying 17 SDG’s (#SustainableDevelopmentGoals) and committing to achieve them by 2030.
It is a series of objectives that may appear as conflicting but which instead can be concretely achieved because they represent common objectives to develop a conscious and sustainable world: the fight against poverty, the elimination of hunger and the fight against climate change, clean water, inequalities reduction. All this can be done while guaranteeing economic growth and people’s well-being.
Since 2015, some steps have been taken but due to the pandemic and the war, these objectives have been left behind.
Do we have to wait for someone to decide for us or can we do something? First of all, we can increase our awareness, think differently about our economic growth and we can teach our children, our grandchildren what the SDG’s are so that they can become aware adults.
Play this game with your children and grandchildren, available on the UN website https://go-goals.org/it/ and let us know what you have learned!!!
