How digital can make us more aware
Reading time: 2’ 50’’
When we choose on the shelves or when we buy online, we take risks because we are almost not sure from where what we put on our table comes from.
This is because, in the current state of things, we trust the salespersons or the information available on the labels. However, we know that the food market is often subject to counterfeits that can range from the simple alteration of labels to the adulteration of food (example: use of sulfur dioxide to make meat redder).
These practices have enormous consequences on our health caused by the poor quality or food safety of the products.
In the presence of this risks, we have trust “one way”, without the possibility of directly verifying the authenticity of what they are selling us.
However, there is excellent news on the horizon because the current paradigm can be changed by using the new digital technologies in the right way.
What are we talking about? Let’s talk about the #blockchain, the #metaverso, the #NFTs. Do you know what they are and how they can be used?
We are certain that the data we display in blockchain are unchangeable, the certification of the supply chain tells us that the data saved in the blockchain is true, the metaverse and NFTs allow us to see things differently.
The combination of digital technologies will therefore allow for an end-to-end, immersive, governance customer experience, within communities where virtuous producers and conscious consumers will be able to interact in a creative and new way because the environment and information that circulate in it are safe.
Imagine a #phygital (combination between physical and digital world) community where the consumer can interactively view the production line and cultivation fields, he/she can become the owner of a part of the company through the NFT, he/she can interact with the producer and other consumers.
Does it seem impossible to you? Does it seem very far away? Vivon is coming! Stay tuned
